The chart above shows the proportion of clothing styles from each apparel category. There are 8 categories listed. The category with the most unique styles is T-shirts & Tanks while the category with the least number of unique styles is Bottoms. The Penn Bookstore appears to have a robust number of offerings. There are 113 unique styles within hats and 48 types of outerwear!

Categories By Gender

The chart above shows the number of options in each category by gender. Generally, the male collections have more unique styles than the female ones. If you are a woman, you may find yourself with less options than your male counterparts at the Penn Bookstore.

The only category with a larger female collection than a male one is Shirts & Sweaters. The difference in the variety of Shirts & Sweaters, however, is drastic compared to other categories with women having about 4 times as many options than men in this category.

Hats are not included in this chart because most hats are unisex. However, there are an extra 5 more hat styles in the male collection.

Specialty Offerings By School

The chart above shows the amount of unique products by school in the bookstore's specialty apparel school collection. Clearly, you are at an advantage if you are attending Wharton which makes up half of the collection. After Wharton which has 12 apparel styles, Perelman has the second most options with 4 products. Most other schools unfortunately only have 1 item option which tends to be a navy blue shirt with the school's name.
